Koch Applied Solutions Welcomes New Team Member, Ben Rolfes!
Ben Rolfes joins the Koch Applied Solutions team as a Sales Engineer, focused on industrial fans. His territory includes Southern and Central Ohio, Southern and Central Indiana.
Ben was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati. He attended St. Xavier High School, where he played ice hockey. Ben remains an active St. X alumnus, having recently been involved in starting a scholarship fund with a group of former classmates.
Ben graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He says he visits as often as he can, especially to cheer on Gamecocks football!
Prior to joining Koch Applied Solutions, Ben was with MiQ Partners (formerly TSS Technologies), which specializes in custom automation solutions including robotic assembly and vision inspection for industries such as medical device and life science, consumer goods, food and beverage, and aerospace. His experience includes two years as a Mechanical Design Engineer and two years as a Sales Engineer. He also has experience in systems design utilizing the latest in CAD technology.
In his free time Ben enjoys cheering on his favorite sports teams, as well as outdoor activities – especially golfing, saltwater fishing and hiking with his three year-old golden retriever, Major. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, including his fiancé, Samantha, whom he will be marrying in May. The couple met at the University of South Carolina and just bought their first home in Mainstrasse Village, Covington, KY, where they enjoy frequenting local bars and restaurants.
We welcome Ben and are happy to have him join our team.
